This is a project that I've been thinking of doing for a long time. .object The object of this computer is a secondary computer for my room and a file server. It will be replacing a pentium 190. I am going to be painting the case yellow, and the front pannel will be gray. Here is the progress so far. .components

I got the plexiglass cut out and drilled holes in the plexiglass and pannel to put the screws through. I haven't been working on it for a while. I also bought the rounded IDE and floppy cables and my blue Cold Cathode Tube. I got 256 mb sdram from Charles. I used my dremmel to sand down to the bare metal and have reprimed the pieces. I have yet to repaint them with the yellow laquer. I'm making sure everything is nice and flat before I paint. I finished bondoing and sanding the face. I painted the face and coverplates with the gray metallic paint. Still have a lot of work still to do. [Link] [No Comments] Monday, February 10, 2003
After sanding and repainting, the paint started spidering. I let it dry and i'm going to sand, reprime and paint. Today, I bought some bondo and bondo'd up the holes on the front pannel i didn't need. I sanded it down and looks pretty good, have to touch up some parts, has holes in some, and the lock hole still isn't filled. [Link] [No Comments] Thursday, February 6, 2003
